‘Chill out’ about jihadists? Nonsense Articles / Opinion Editorials, Publications

“Islamic State terrorists are back in Canada, and the Trudeau government doesn’t seem to have a clue how to handle the situation,” writes Candice Malcolm, further detailing Trudeau’s  “half-hearted explanation about the various government programs related to terrorism, including a reintegration program for returned jihadists” during a statement given to the House of Commons.

Malcolm warns that Canada needs to be realistic about the threat posed and adopt “a hard-nosed strategy to combat jihadists from the Islamic State and other terrorist groups.”

Depués de al Forum 2017 de Seguridad Hemisférica, SFS fellow Dardo López-Dolz reafirma la importancia de América Latina y la necessidad para proteger esta región de una multitud de amenazas. En su artículo, López-Dolz habla sobre los bloques del Forum que occurió en el 16 de Noviembre. López-Dolz destaca que “globalización no solo ha afectado a los mercados económicos, también ha borrado las fronteras para las organizaciones delictivas, incluidas aquellas que usan el terror como herramienta de conquista de poder.”

Canadians leery of mass immigration Articles / Opinion Editorials

Atlanta_Security_Line_(427400947)With the new year upon us, many are beginning to think up goals for 2018. Canada too! The Trudeau government wants to unroll a new immigration plan next year that amounts to 1 million more immigrants in the next three years, reports Candice Malcolm.

She continues by stating polls “reveal that confidence in immigration is down across the board.” She acknowledges that Canadians as a people are welcoming, but the new “immigration agenda is a dangerous combination [as it calls for] more refugees, with less security and more immigration, but with less of a focus on integration and national unity.”
